V. R. Krishnayyar feels bad about big money in IPL!!

Today in the news papers there was a comment from retired Justice V.R.Krishanayyar decrying the big money involved in the newly created IPL(Indian Premier League). He is criticizing it as if it is a sin to plan any thing which involves big money. There is nothing wrong with big money being thrown in to Indian Cricket. And these are not tax payer money. This is being paid by private companies and individuals. They are definitely going to do a better job than the government as you can see the performance of private sector and public sector institutions. They are definitely going to reward hard work and merit more than race/state/religion/caste etc., which is the criteria for the politicians. And they are going to try to make a profit from their investment. There is nothing wrong in that.

Sujo is right about the infra structure mess in Indian stadiums. BCCI is the richest board on the planet and still they cannot provide world class stadiums here.
